RSS Feeds, Podcasting, IM, blogs, MySpace, etc... What is all this stuff and
how can we use it for fundraising? This session will provide a thoughtful,
accessible overview of new media tools and terms for non-techies, and then
we will roll-up-our-sleeves and brainstorm about new media and how we might
market it to our audiences and use it to build revenue, whether directly
through outright membership solicitation, business sponsorship or
e-commerce, or indirectly by capturing user contact information for later
cultivation.
All roundtable events are FREE to arts and cultural organizations in the
Boston area. Pre-registration is required. Come prepared to discuss, share
stories, and contribute. Don't forget to bring your brown bag lunch!
Note: For those of you who have attended our roundtable before, there has
been a time change. This session will begin at 10AM.
