Dear All

This past Thursday our meeting was an immense success!!!!
Members of the Artists Discussion Group met to speak on the challenges,
troubles and obstacles facing artists today. 
I took notes and have organized what we talked about into 10 major types of
challenges facing artists today.

Attached is a write up that came from the discussion at Hibernian Hall last
Thursday. 

As a group we also began to talk about artists may take on these challenges,
so while this topic is still hot I would like to have another meeting
discussing the challenges we face while focusing on how to respond to them. 

So I want to have another meeting this comming week, all artists are
welcome, and please bring people you know who would be interested, 

Who: Concerned artists from every discipline
What:  Artists Speak Out! II   another meeting where artists air their
concerns 
When: Thursday August 24th 2006, 6pm
Where: Roxbury Center for the Arts at Hibernian Hall, 182 Dudley St. Roxbury
MA, 3rd floor Conference Room
How: RCAHH is right next to Dudley Station, which you can reach from many
bus lines leaving ruggles, and from the Silverline. if driving, it is best
use your own directions, from mapquest, yahoo, or google maps, and call 857
