Artist Feature

Interview with Writer, Mary O'Donoghue

Irish writer Mary O'Donoghue moved to Boston five years ago, looking for a
change of scene and the luxury of anonymity that a new city could offer.
Having
since authored two collections of poetry, published in numerous periodicals
and anthologies, and won a Massachusetts Cultural Council Artist Grant in
fiction, it seems unlikely Mary O'Donoghue will stay off the radar in Boston
for
much longer.

Artadia Fund Launches Awards for Boston-area Artists

Artadia -- The Fund for Art and Dialogue has announced the launch of the
ArtadiaBoston 2007 Awards in the Visual Arts program in the metropolitan
Boston
area.

The Fund will select ten Boston-area artists to receive awards ranging from
$1500 to $15,000. An exhibition of the awardees' work and an accompanying

The exhibition will take place during the summer of 2008 at the BCA's Mills

plan to further strengthen support for art-making in communities across the
country," said Bridget Murphy, Artadia's Director of Programs.
