This email provides information about:
1) Public meeting for Westinghouse artist studios project;
2) Artist Space available:  work-only space and live/work space.

1)  Westinghouse Public Meeting
On January 11 from 6:30-8:30PM there will be a public meeting held at the
Hyde Park library so that the developer of the proposed Westinghouse Artist
Studios (live/work) project in Hyde Park can present their development
proposal to interested members of the public.  The Hyde Park library is
located at 35 Harvard Avenue, Boston MA 02136.  This meeting is part of the
Article 80 development review process.  Questions?  Call Rodney Sinclair,

2) Artist Space available
 
WORK-ONLY STUDIOS
 
Bates Art Center
The Bates Art Center is accepting applications for a 900sf artist studio in
the South End.  The Bates studios are located in a 120 year old renovated
historic schoolhouse on Harrison Avenue.  The Bates Art Center is a
non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing rental artist studios
to BRA certified artists.  Interested applicants should call or email for
more info, such as rent. Contact Lora Tomita at (617) 338-7600, X309 or by
email at lora at newatlantic.net for more information or with questions.
 
BRA artist certification is required to qualify for studio spaces at the
Bates.  If you are not currently certified, please contact Heidi Burbidge at
617-918-4306 or Heidi.Burbidge.bra at ci.boston.ma.us as soon as possible
regarding the certification process.
