[DAC] RiverArt - applications now being accepted, reduced fee by Aug 15

RiverArt is an annual art exhibit and sale sponsored by NepRWA and the 
Forbes House Museum.

Interested in exhibiting and selling your crafts or fine art at RiverArt? 
Exhibit applications are being accepted now through September 15, 2006. 
Three photographs of recent work are required of each crafter or fine 
artist for use in the juried selection process. Application fees are $50 
per exhibit space for all entries received by August 15, or $75 for 
entries received between August 15 and September 15, 2006. Exhibitors must 
bring their own displays. Download an application form at

RiverArt provides the perfect opportunity to expand your personal art 
collection and to purchase gifts of skillfully-made crafts and fine 
photographs, oil-, acrylic- and watercolor-paintings, drawings, and a 
variety of other media depicting local scenes and beautiful vistas, here 
in the Neponset River Watershed.
Plein air art is made outdoors, taking advantage of the lighting on the 
landscape and the feel of the surrounding environment. Artists finish all 
or most of their renderings outdoors, onsite.
This year, RiverArt will be even more exciting than ever --
In addition to the sale of plein air art depicting scenes in the Neponset 
River Watershed, demonstrations of plein air art-making, live, swingin' 
music, children's participatory craft-making, and food, there will be an 
array of juried crafts for sale!
