    Art Position at Burlington High School
 
Burlington High School is seeking a teacher for a part time (0.4) art
position: two morning classes and a prep/ duty. It would most likely be two
sections of introductory 35 mm/ darkroom photography during the first
semester, and a Photo 2 course and Advanced Photo during the second
semester. There would be two duty periods in a seven day cycle.

We are looking for a dynamic, engaging teacher with strong classroom
management skills who would be able to interest a greater number of students
in enrolling in photography.

In the event that we cannot fill a photography position, we would be looking
for a someone who can teach two sections of digital art (a full year course)
on the Macintosh platform. We use Photoshop and Illustrator on Mac OS X. 

There is an option of additionally applying for a 0.6 permanent substitute
position to fill out the school day.

Potential candidates must be certified to teach in Massachusetts.
