Subject: Fall 2006 Art Events
Hi Friends,
I am writing to let you know about several art exhibits where my new works
are being shown.
Two shows use art to bring people together to create dialogues about
difficult subjects.
"Songs of the Sand" focuses on images of the modern Middle East, by both
U.S. and native artists.
"Faith in Art" is an inter-faith exhibit which explores both spiritual and
faith-based dimensions in art. What is sacred is in no way limited to the
boundaries/dogma of traditional religions.
On the lighter side, "Art Soup" is a group show by 4 Dorchester artists +
me. We met once with the intent of painting each others' portraits and we
have each included a self-portrait in the show (my first self-portrait for a
show)
I would love to see you at the reception for "Songs of the Sand" or connect
with you at the other two venues.
"Songs of the Sand" showcasing the modern Middle East

Also if you are thinking about having me create a commissioned piece from
your photos for the holiday season, now is an excellent time to begin the
process and get in touch with me.
Wishing you peace and blessings for the fall.

"Art is our one true global language. It knows no nation, it
favors no race, and it
acknowledges no class. It speaks to our needs to reveal, heal and
transform. It transcends
our ordinary lives and lets us imagine what is possible." Richard
