Dear Cultural Program Director,
 
The Massachusetts Cultural Council is seeking artists to join its Creative
Teaching Partners roster. This year we are reviewing applications in
theatre, dance, puppetry, storytelling and visual arts (excluding media
arts). Listing on the Creative Teaching Partners Roster provides artists
with a competitive edge when schools and organizations are looking for
visiting artists or faculty. All artists on the roster have been juried by a
panel of artists, teachers and administrators for their artistic quality and
ability to work effectively in a school or youth development setting. The
program is designed for artists who are involved in K-12 appropriate
residencies, long-term youth development programs and educator professional
development consultancies. The application deadline is October 16, 2006.
