Enacted in April 2006, the Massachusetts Health Care Reform Law is designed
to provide health insurance to every man, woman and child in the
Commonwealth. As an employer and a citizen of the Commonwealth, there are
health insurance requirements you must meet by December 31, 2007.

The Arts Health Care Coalition includes the Massachusetts Joint Committee on
Tourism, Arts and Cultural Development, Massachusetts Cultural Council,
MAASH, Artist Foundation, and ArtistLink. The Coalition was formed to
connect the cultural community with good information on the benefits and
responsibilities that the new law creates for individual artists and
cultural organizations and their employees.
