An Exhibition of Young Artists' Work

THE UPPER HALL AT ALL SAINTS CHURCH
209 ASHMONT STREET, DORCHESTER

Join us for an unveiling of life-sized sculptures, painting and drawings of
all sizes and a friendship quilt created by the talented Dot Art students in
the 2007 summer programs.  You can congratulate the teens who created the
work and hear about their exploration into the past to find connections to
the present.  See these works before they go on public exhibit around the
city!

Ben Evett, Artistic Director, Actors' Shakespeare Project will open the
exhibition.

Artwork will be for sale at the exhibition and through a silent auction!

Dot Art's Mission:
To make exemplary visual arts education available to everyone in Dorchester
and surrounding neighborhoods.
 
Goals 
I. To empower individual children, teens, and adults by developing their
abilities to think visually and to practice problem-solving techniques;

II. To unite diverse groups within the Dorchester community around the
processes and products of visual art making;

III. To build meaningful connections between the Dorchester community and
major cultural institutions.
