CALLING ALL ARTISTS!
Are You Driven to Abstraction!
You are invited to submit artwork for “DRIVEN TO ABSTRACTION”, a juried exhibition
and sale. The exhibition kicks off with an opening reception on Friday, August 10, 2007, and will
be open to the public from August 10, 2007 through September 2, 2007, at the Gallery at the Piano
Factory in Boston’s historic South End/Lower Roxbury. The Gallery is located at 791 Tremont Street,
Boston, MA 02118 near the Mass Ave. T Stop on the orange line.
The jury will accept approximately 12-15 visual artists in the media categories of 2 and 3 dimensional works.
Two dimensional works are not to exceed 48” x 48”. Three dimensional works are not to exceed 100” in height. Art work will be judged on quality, imagination, technique, and appropriateness for our venue.

All artwork must be available for sale. Gallery at the Piano Factory collects a 20% commission on
all sales. The Gallery is unable to insure works against loss or damage is not responsible for damage
to work caused by the elements, theft, and/or vandalism, however the building provides 24-hour
onsite security and the Gallery makes every effort to ensure the safety of displayed works of art.
In addition to the opening reception, Artists will be attend the gallery at least one day to meet and
greet the public. Gallery Hours are: Fridays, 4-8 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays, 1-5 p.m.
