[DAC] more on Dot Day Parade

Hi everyone.  As I posted earlier, we're looking for supporters of the arts
community to march with us on June 3 in the Dorchester Day Parade, alongside
the Joe Wheelwright float (see below).  We will be providing t-shirts for
those marching in the Parade.  T-shirts will feature an image of the Joe
Wheelwright sculpture, and will be designed and printed by Dorchester artist
Shane Ruff.  IMPORTANT:  If you will march with us, I need to know what size
t-shirt you want.   Shirts are White Hanes Heavyweight 100% Cotton Preshrunk
T's.  T-shirts will be available the morning of the parade, either at the
parade start, or at another location TBA.  
 
Please respond to let me know that you're marching and to reserve your
shirt.  No need to respond if you're NOT planning to march.
 
Remember, you can't have a t-shirt if you don't march!  Parade starts at 1
in Lower Mills, and goes all the way to Columbia Road.

Hi everyone.
 
We need you!  We, the Dorchester Arts Collaborative will be marching in the
Dorchester Day Parade on June 3.  We'll be marching alongside a float that
we're creating with a Joe Wheelwright sculpture as its centerpiece.  We need
the Dorchester arts community to march with us, to show our neighbors,
friends, elected officials and press that we're an engaged and valuable part
of the community.  I will have very specific details soon, but the parade
starts at 1 pm in Lower Mills and goes all the way up to Columbia Road.  You
don't have to march the whole way of you don't feel you can, but it's great
fun and exercise!  I believe we will be making t-shirts as well, to be
distributed to our marchers.  More on that later. 
 
In the meantime, if you can march on June 3, please email me off-list to let
me know.  I want to get a sense of how many of us there will be.  I'm hoping
for a small army.  Thanks.
