[DAC] postcard distribution

Hi all:
We have thousands of Dorchester Open Studios 2007 oversized postcards  
available for distribution!!!!!!  Of course, exhibiting artists will  
each pick up their own stash from Andrea Kunst and mail to your/their  
distribution lists.

But we'd like to see the rest of them get out to neighborhood--as  
well as outside the neighborhood--stores, community centers, etc,  
etc, etc.

In past years, we organized a dedicated group of you as volunteers to  
distribute the DOS posters.  We are not printing posters this year.    
These postcards are intended to accomplish the same.

So, if you can offer to spend some time dropping stacks of postcards  
around town during your travels, it will go a long way to advertising  
the event and hopefully drive traffic to Open Studios.

The cards can be picked up on Joyce Linehan's front porch, 10 Burt  
Street on Ashmont Hill.  If you plan to do so, please let me know  
where you'll be dropping them so I can keep a list and know how far  
and wide they're going as well as to prevent overlap and make sure to  
get to areas no one covers.

successful event.
