[DAC] Classical Music Concert This Sunday at 3: Ana Popa

Hi all-

Dorchester's free classical concert series is open to all, and this Sunday brings a performance by a personal favorite: Ana Popa, pianist and friend. Ana Popa's previous concert blew me away - despite hearing her organ performances weekly, I had no idea what a talented pianist we had in our midst. We will be out of town and I'm so sad to be missing it as these concerts, featuring high quality performers and a gorgeous concert-quality piano in a beautiful space, are always so restorative. The receptions afterwards are always a neighborly opportunity to meet other folks from Dorchester and beyond. The only thing missing is a larger audience!  Please spread the word and come if you can to see one of Dorchester's own outstanding musical artists. Details below...

Please join us for our fifth concert of the '07-08 season, featuring

Ana Sorina Popa, pianist

F. Chopin, Waltzes Opp. 18, 34, 64 (selections)

Ana is one of Dorchester's best kept secrets--she is the organist and
choir director for First Parish Church, but also a classical pianist,
director of the concert series that brings world renowed artists to
perform on Meetinghouse Hill.
