Staff Announcement

NEFA Announces new Public Art Coordinator (Boston, MA) Rebecca Blunk,
executive director of the New England Foundation for the Arts (NEFA)
announced that Brookline resident Lauren Johnston has been promoted to the
position of public art coordinator. "Lauren's facility for making
connections, her knowledge, and her experience, having been at NEFA for 3
years, initially as an intern, make her an exceptional pick. We're
thrilled," Blunk said.

With an education in business administration and art history, and work
experience at other cultural institutions locally and abroad, Johnston's
promotion is well-timed, as the program works to define and connect a public
art network in New England, sharing model projects and best practices that
will develop support structures for the field.
