Hello,

 

On June 1st, I will be offering a workshop for artists who want to overcome
creative blocks and feel more comfortable with the creative process and with
self-promotion. I am a psychotherapist who specializes in helping artists
and writers with creative, career and personal issues. I am seeking
opportunities to get the word out about the workshop and wondered if you
might consider getting this information out to the members of the Dorchester
Arts Collaborative through your e-mail list or newsletter? If this is
possible, I would very much appreciate it.

Are you an artist who struggles with confidence about self expression or
self promotion?  Do you find it hard to devote time to your work or feel
unmotivated to do your work? Do you regularly feel unhappy with the quality
of your work?  Or, are you timid about talking with people to promote your
work?  

 

If so, this workshop will help you begin to explore difficulties with
creative expression and self-promotion.  Through thoughtful discussion and
group exercises, begin to understand and move beyond your stuck points. 

 

Gain greater confidence in yourself and your talents.

 

 

Who: Professional and emerging artists both welcome.

 

When: Sunday June 1st 2:00pm - 4pm.

 

Where: offices of Collaborative Psychotherapy 2516 Massachusetts Avenue

Cost: $20.00 per participant
